Brent’s career highlights include developing key series for TLC, including Cake Boss, My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, and All American Muslim. He oversaw live events, including the worldwide broadcast of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, for which he won an internal Discovery Communications award and was responsible for revamping the Miss America competition.
At E! he launched the hit shows E! True Hollywood Story, Dr. 90210, The Girls Next Door, The Chelsea Handler Show, Chelsea Lately, E!’s Sirius/XM radio channel, and eonline’s E! News Now.
In 2015, Brent brought his creative zeal to the table as founder of Ashley Oaks Media. AO Media has worked with Hasbro, BET, Z-Living, The Reelz Channel, Content Media Group, Chicken Soup for the Soul and Game Show Network. They are currently in production on Cover Story, GSN’s hit documentary series that looks at the famous and infamous moments of game show moments and scandals. He also continues his work as a media consultant for industry heavy hitters.
